Hi, my name is Cade Halada (pronounced Holiday). I currently live in Eagle River, Wisconsin and work at the Conserve School in Land O’ Lakes as a Desktop Support Technician.

My best friend is all-powerful, all-knowing, and plays guitar like nobodies business.

I enjoy art related to comics, cartooning, and concept art. My other website ArtDojo is used to keep track of any artist websites and blogs that I’m interested in. This interest has lead to my own art project in the form of a childrens book, which will hopefully be finished soon which is done but unpublished.

My other passion is web development. This passion has went from possible career path to just being a hobby. There is always something new happening in the web development field and everything you learned yesterday is already outdated. So I think it’s better to just keep my eye on it and put time into other things. My current focus in this area is checking out CodeIgniter.

The last passion in my life is actually the first in importance - Jesus Christ. As a child I attended a nondenominational church. Through middle school and beyond college I attended services sparsely, if ever. In the last few years I started attending an evangelical church and began reading more books concerning faith and the historical Christ. This was beginning to lead into a more charismatic and mystic personal faith until recently pulling a 180 after coming across the reformation movement and it’s doctrine. I’ve come to embrace the reformed doctrine based on the Five Solas and, by God’s grace, do not see myself ever wavering from them. If you want to really dig into the doctrine behind the reformation, monergism is a great place to start. If you’re like me, the doctrine may be like a breath of fresh air in a world struggling to find truth.
